Speaker: Rebecca Barbour, procurement counselor, Small Business and Technology Development Center (SBTDC) Procurement Technical Assistance Center (PTCA) at North Carolina State University.

Learn How Small Businesses Can Compete in the Government Marketplace

The government marketplace poses unique challenges that can overwhelm or even ruin a company that does not have the maturity or resources to meet them.

  • Have you registered your business with the databases necessary to participate in the government marketplace?
  • Are you connecting with agency buying officers and prime contractors to help you land opportunities?
  • Can you respond to the most difficult solicitation package?

If you would like answers to these and other questions, come to Triangle Networking Group's December 14 meeting with Procurement Officer Rebecca Barbour.

Barbour will provide an overview of The Small Business and Technology Development Center's (SBTDC) Procurement Technical Assistance Center (PTAC) at North Carolina State University. Barbour will explain how the SBTDC can help you with a wide variety of business challenges, including how to sell products and services to local, state and federal government entities.

Date: Tuesday, Dec. 14

Time: 6:00 p.m. - 8:00p.m – (food and drink available at 5:30 p.m.)

Place: Matrix Resources, Morrisville

The SBTDC is administered statewide by NC State University of North Carolina system, and operated in partnership with the US Small Business Administration.

"The North Carolina PTAC, which serves as a Procurement Technical Assistance Center (PTAC), is funded in part through a cooperative agreement from the Department of Defense (DOD) through a program that is administered by the Defense Logistics Agency (DLA).
